GFX does include A-B lines, lines based on compass headings, curves, and center-pivot patterns. (There is an add-on app for the TMX-2050 that does include Free-Form). Trimble has stated that they will at some point include Free-Form in an update, but as of now (6/2020) it is not available for the GFX series. This is a big concern in our area as most of our local users are not farming square fields where A-B lines are the pattern of choice. The Precision IQ software application is feature-rich, but Trimble has opted not to include the Free-Form pattern as part of the guidance pattern options. There are a lot of good things to say about this display, but let’s start with the bad. This unit offers a 10.1” high-definition color touchscreen display and is priced competitively. They are replaced by the GFX-750, which is an Android based platform running Trimble’s Precision IQ software. Trimble has officially sold the last of their CFX-750 inventory, so they are no longer available to purchase.
